JD was 34 years old when he passed away from brain cancer. JD was the epitome of a "Mainer" - Carhart kind of guy, ski junky and had a real love for hockey! It's been 3 years since JD's passing and his wife, Mary, just found NINE hockey sticks stashed away - who would have thought you needed that many hockey sticks to play a 60 minute game -- She sure didn't and this discovery sure made her smile!

JD was the kind of Husband, Son, Uncle and Friend that brightened your day with his smile and gentle approach. We Honor JD and all cancer patients who continue their fight with cancer and are happy to share more details about J.D.'s Power Play Hockey Tournament!

Our First Annual JD's Power Play Hockey Tournament launched at the Biddeford Ice Arena, cheering on the Alums from Umaine and watching them play against the Foundation4Love ALL-Star Team all to raise funds for F4L and our amazing programs in the community!
